In February – Dr. Panjwani was a featured speaker at the annual Association of Academic Physiatrists (AAP) conference in Anaheim, California. In her 60 minute lecture, Dr. Panjwani discussed Lifestyle Medicine and its role in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, both fields in which she is board certified.

Dr. Panjwani’s presentation was titled ‘Lifestyle Medicine and its Role in PM&R – The What, Why and How’.  In her presentation, she emphasized the importance of exercise, diet and stress management in preventing, treating and healing chronic pain and musculoskeletal conditions. She also highlighted the role of sleep, social support and mindfulness in promoting overall health and well-being.
